C. Breitkreuz The lecture introduces the main physical properties of magma, eruption styles, and volcano forms. Volcanic fragmentation, transport and deposition form the main part of the lecture. A brief review of volcanic hazards is given. The seminar deals with the examination of volcanic fragments and rocks and various techniques in volcanology.
